Wash and dry your hands
Make sure your hands are clean and free from lotions, creams or oils before touching your glasses.
Rinse your glasses
Use lukewarm water to remove loose dust and debris. You may also use a cleaner made specifically for eyeglasses.
Add a small drop of soap
Apply a tiny amount of lotion-free dishwashing liquid to each lens.
Clean the lenses and frame
Gently rub both sides of each lens and all parts of the frame, including the nose pads and temple tips.
Rinse thoroughly
Rinse the lenses and frame completely so no soap residue remains.
Remove excess water
Shake the glasses gently to remove most of the remaining water droplets.
Dry with a soft cloth
Dry the lenses with a clean microfiber cloth or a clean, lint-free cotton cloth.
What not to do

Do not use household cleaners
Products containing ammonia or harsh chemicals may damage lenses and lens coatings.

Do not use paper products
Paper towels, napkins, tissues and toilet paper can scratch or smear your lenses.

Do not wipe lenses with your shirt
Clothing can hold dust and small particles that may scratch the lens surface.
